Re-issued with the Renegades DLC, Mistral Lift is a 
Void Linear Fusion Rifle that can be farmed during the Dawning event. This reprised version of Mistral Lift looks to be an excellent weapon to take into the Lawless Frontier. This guide covers its place in the current Meta, top rolls for PvE and PvP, and how to farm it.

How good is Mistral Lift
Mistral Lift returns as a very similar version of itself as it once was, including the same core god roll. Unfortunately, Linear Fusion Rifles are incredibly overshadowed by many other damage strategies at the moment, meaning they aren’t too popular. However, if Linears see a buff in the future, Mistral Lift will be one of the go to’s.
Mistral’s main competitors are Scintillation, Doomed Petitioner, and Boomslang-4fr, as they are the other top Adaptive Burst Linear Fusion Rifles. Due to Mistral Lift having Bait and Switch, it beats out Doomed Peitioner and Boomslang, but Scintillation’s Rewind Rounds is simply better for what Linears are trying to do: Single weapon DPS. However, Envious Arsenal, and Mistral Lift by extension, is not a bad second place by any means. Mistral Lift is S-Tier for PvE and D-tier for PvP.

- Perk 1: Built to Blast, Envious Arsenal, Firefly, Reconstruction, No Distractions, Withering Gaze, and Overflow.
- Perk 2: Butterfly, Bait and Switch, Dragonfly, Precision Instrument, Rewind Rounds, and Reservoir Burst.
- Origin Trait: Dawning Surprise, Veist Stinger.

On Mistral Lift, we first take Fluted Barrel as it boosts the Handling and Stability of the weapon, making it easier to use. For the magazine, you can go with either Liquid Coils or Accelerated Coils. The latter will do slightly more damage per second, but Liquid Coils will be more damage overall, however, the actual damage difference between both options is very low. Charge Time is the best masterwork available.
For perks, we suggest Envious Arsenal in the first column as it is an excellent reload perk, however, Reconstruction is an okay backup. Bait and Switch is the go-to for perk 2 as it is the best damage perk available on Mistral Lift, but Precision Instrument is a reasonable backup option.

How to get Mistral Lift
To acquire Mistral Lift, you’ll have to complete Dawning-themed objectives. Portal activities will sometimes drop Dawning engrams containing Dawning loot, or you can trade Dawning Spirit at Eva Levante in the Tower in exchange for a Dawning Engram.
