The Final Shape is here, which means the hunt is on to unlock everything Prismatic subclasses have to offer. Among the most sought-after of these are the new fragments, which, while all are available, require complex and cryptic puzzles to solve.
Here, we’ll show you how to get every single Prismatic fragment The Final Shape has to offer. Let’s begin.
Starter (Campaign) Prismatic Facets
When you unlock Prismatic at the beginning of The Final Shape’s campaign, it’ll automatically come with six fragments:
- Facets of Ruin
- Facet of Purpose
- Facet of Protection
- Facet of Hope
- Facet of Dawn
Two additional fragments, Facet of Balance and Facet of Courage, come directly from campaign chests (along with Supers, Aspects, etc.). This makes a total of eight, which means there are 13 missing ones you’ll need to seek out.
Hidden Campaign Fragments
The campaign’s fifth, sixth, and seventh missions (Ascent, Dissent, and Iconoclasm) each contain one hidden fragment.
Facet of Bravery
The Facet of Bravery is located within the Ascent campaign mission. Climb the mountain at the start of the mission until you reach the wreckage of an old plane. Instead of going directly through it as usual, look down and to the right. You should see additional wreckage, which contains a chest with the Facet of Bravery inside.

Facet of Devotion
The Facet of Devotion is located within the Dissent campaign mission. Continue through as usual until the very end, when the escape sequence starts. After leaving the open area and entering the rooms with a grid-like sequence of pillars, continue straight instead of turning right into the yellow-lit room. On the back wall behind a pillar is a chest containing Facet of Devotion.
Facet of Sacrifice
Hidden near the end of the Iconoclasm mission is Facet of Sacrifice. In the room containing an odd-looking war beast statue (right after the view of the entire Pale Heart, but right before the fight with The Witness), turn left instead of right. After entering the dark room off to the left, look up and to your right. You should see a small light illuminating a hole in the wall, which will lead to the Facet of Sacrifice.
Open World Prismatic Fragments
Many fragments aren’t in campaign missions and don’t require consumables to unlock. Instead, they can be found randomly throughout the Pale Heart patrol space and each contains unique puzzles to unlock.
Facet of Justice
To find Facet of Justice, load into patrol at The Landing and continue through The Refraction until you reach the room shown below. You should see a locked prismatic chest in the center of the room, as well as a solar crystal in front of the top window. In the upper portion of the room, there are ten places where you can dunk this crystal.
After picking the crystal up, look toward the center of the room while staying on the top floor—you should see symbols appear in front of all the deposit locations. Dunk the crystal in the places that correspond with the stack of three symbols in the center of the room. If done correctly, this will spawn a wave of enemies, eventually leading to a boss enemy that drops the key to the chest.
Facet of Defiance
To reach this fragment, load into The Impasse and head into The Transgression. Make your way to the large opening that contains a statue of an impaled man, then turn left into the cave opening.
This cave’s air is poisoned, so be sure to refresh your buff by shooting the nodes of darkness whenever needed. Make your way to the back of the cave and interact with the pyramid object to begin a combat encounter. In this encounter, you’ll need to shoot eyes hidden throughout the cave to take down the shields of the enemies that spawn. Each wave has an increasing amount of both eyes and shielded enemies, so be cautious. After defeating three waves, head back to the pyramid object at the end of the cave to defeat a Tormentor boss. This boss drops a key, which will unlock the prismatic chest.
Facet of Command
To obtain Facet of Command, load into The Impasse and make your way into The Divide. Keep moving through until you reach the prismatic chest, which should be pretty obvious. The wall opposite the chest should have multiple holes in it—jump through one to reach the start of this fragment’s puzzle.
Inside this small room you jumped through is a machine that can transmat a scorch cannon. Pick the cannon up and shoot the three piles of white rock (two covering other machines, one that should spawn an arc charge). Both machines each need to be charged with ten energy on the dot—arc charges give two, solar gives three, and void gives four.
You’ll find additional rock piles throughout this area to charge the machines—two toward the bridge just past the prismatic chest, and four toward where you entered the area from (none of which push past the region chest that requires a Lost Encryption Code). Deposit the charges to power up the machines (use two void and one arc in one, then two solar and two arc in the other, both equalling ten) to start a combat encounter. Pick up the key the boss drops to open the prismatic chest.
Facet of Grace
Load into The Lost City, then move backward past Micah-10 to begin Facet of Grace’s puzzle.
After entering the large courtyard, make a sharp right to kill a group of enemies that includes a Gordian Weaver (you’ll also see the prismatic chest here, but we’ll come back to it). Doing so should say “First Omen is defeated” and “Omens appear” in the game chat. From here, run directly across the courtyard to kill a second set of enemies (marked two on the map above). After these, run back across the courtyard and make a shallow left to the position marked three above, and kill the enemies there.
Finally, return to the central courtyard area to kill two omens and a Tormentor, the last of which will drop a key for the prismatic chest (which is located back where the first group of enemies were).
Facet of Mending
Facet of Mending is deep in The Lost City. Continue moving back through the area (past Micah-10 and the courtyard containing Facet of Grace) until you reach the Outskirts loading zone. Inside this zone, you’ll need to find four lost ghosts. The first is located at the entrance to the loading zone, above a small wooden canopy and on top of a sign.
Continue through the area until you reach a shrieker surrounded by individual platforms. Before jumping across to the other side, head down the staircase right below you to find the ghost behind a pile of boxes.
Once again, continue through the area until you exit the building and gain a view of the large portal. Turn around, and above the doorway is the third ghost.
The final ghost is located on top of the large structure guarding the entrance to the next cave, pictured below (directly scoped into its location).
After securing this fourth ghost, continue through the zone until you reach the prismatic chest. To unlock it, capture the darkness plate and defeat the boss that spawns. This boss will drop a key, unlocking the prismatic chest and granting Facet of Mending.
Memory Vestige Fragments
Facets of Honor and Solitude are available through Memory Vestige: Darkness consumables.
Facet of Honor and Facet of Solitude
These consumables can be obtained from chests overgrown with darkness in the Pale Heart’s patrol space.
These spawn randomly (but frequently) throughout the three main patrol areas and require a unique, short puzzle to unlock. After collecting five, they’ll auto-convert into a legendary consumable (such as the one pictured below) that leads to a prismatic chest.
If you have Memory: Impassive Darkness, this leads to the Facet of Solitude. Head toward the large circle on your map in The Impasse, then look over the cliff’s edge. For context, the image below is taken from the entrance to The Transgression, looking to the right. The chest will be around the corner from where I’m looking toward, on the very north-east corner of the map.
Memory: Divisive Darkness leads to the Facet of Honor. This one is a longer walk; start from The Impasse and continue through The Divide. Following the large circle on your map, scale up the entire mountain until you reach the portion pictured below, where you’d usually re-enter a building. Instead, jump over to the right and look down. You’ll find the next prismatic chest here on a large platform.

Facet of Dominance, Awakening, and Generosity
These final three fragments come from Memory Vestige: Light consumables.
Light Vestiges are obtained through specific enemies in the six cyst missions, which can be unlocked by progressing the Alone in the Dark questline from Micah-10. While their presence seems to be random, enemies that drop these items will be glowing white. Most reports from players say they had the most luck finding these enemies in the Sword Dance, Searing Light, and Aerial Ace cysts. After collecting five, they’ll auto-convert into a legendary consumable (such as the one pictured below) that leads to a prismatic chest.
Memory: Seclusion of Light leads to Facet of Dominance. Beginning at The Blooming, head into The Seclusion until you reach Zavala’s house. The chest is located near the waterfall at the top of the hill, on top of some rocks.
Memory: Refractions of Light grants Facet of Awakening. Starting at The Blooming, go into The Refraction and continue until you reach the search area marked on your map. From there, look up into the trees; it should be right around where the Guardian is looking in the picture below.
Face of Generosity
Finally, Blooming of Light leads to Facet of Generosity. In The Blooming, make your way up to the base of the large tree in the center of the area. The prismatic chest will be in roots on the west side of the tree.
